Genre: Sci-fi
Logline: A reporter risks it all to uncover the deadly secrets inside Area 51.
Brief synopis: A maverick reporter, stuck in a dead end tabloid job, hears about the death of his mentor in a jet crash involving a UFO. He demands the story from his skeptical boss. The boss gives in, telling him "Come back with a headline story, or don't bother coming back!"
He has second thoughts about going, but gets a phone call from the “dead” pilot, telling him to travel to Rachel, Nevada – the Mecca of UFO hunters and nuts. The pilot tells him that the truth that can save him is there. On the way to Rachel he meets his former girlfriend, the pilot's daughter. Her boss, a Nevada Senator involved in shady deals, is sending her there to serve as an unwitting spy for him.
His investigation triggers a threatening confrontation with a deadly government cover-up expert. Harassed by locals, distracted by a bewildering array of Area 51 groupies, and abandoned by his boss, he decides to head home.
But a meeting with his mentor spurs him on. Now it's a race against time and impossible odds to uncover the secrets at the very heart of Area 51.
