Les Miserables: The web-film series, is a non-profit, crowdfunded film series which starts filming in 2015, for internet broadcast on Youtube, Vimeo, etc.
This is a 20 part series, which will dramatise, as far as is possible, Victor Hugo’s original unabridged novel, word for word.

Please be aware that while we are best known for theatre productions, this is a film series.

This is a project from the South Devon Players, who are an awardwinning theatre (and now film!) group from Brixham in Devon. Founded in 2005, we specialise in historical dramas, and following the blow-away success of our stage production (again written from the book by Laura J, so not the musical!) in 2013, a group of our members have started this project.
