Spotlight Number

Hi there,
I am thinking of getting a spotlight number but I just wanted to know from any actor/actresses out there, is it really worth the money? Has anyone got serious work from it and will it really benefit me as an actor. Anyone with feedback would be much appreciated.

Hi,
I am a full member of Spotlight and Equity and I think whilst it’s not essential to have these affiliations, I personally think they are worth there weight in gold!
It is though a personal thing and you need to work out exactly what you are getting for your money and see if it’s worth it to you.
One thing to note is Spotlight have just published there new book for the coming year, so you won’t now get published till next May.

I think you can go in Spotlight as an Interim entry – ie you won’t actually go in the directory until next May but you will go on the database which is used by agents and casting directors all over the country. Ring them and see.
