Leonardo DiCaprio is the highest paid Hollywood actor

Forbes magazine has reported today that Leonardo Dicaprio has topped their list of the highest paid actor in Hollywood, making 70 million in the year 2010 thanks to the commercial success of Martin Scorsese’s “Shutter Island” and Chris Nolan’s “Inception”, in which he plays the lead.
Johnny Depp, last year’s leader of the list, has been relegated to the second place, making only 50 millions this years, thanks to the phenomenal success of the 4th installment of “Pirates of the Caribbeans,” in which he reprises the role of Captain Sparrow, and the animated film “Rango”, in which he lends his voice to a Chameleon.
In spite of being often shunned by critics, Adam Sandler made it to the third place, amassing a fortune of 40 million, thanks to the huge success of his recent film “Grown Ups.”
“Men in a Black” super star, Will Smith, is fourth on the list with 36 millions, followed by Tom Hanks, whose recent film Larry Crown was a box office flop but thanks to Toy Story 3, in which he voices Woody, he managed to scrap 35 millions last year.
Other actors who have made it into the top 10 list are Ben Stiller, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Wahlberg, Tim Allen and Tom Cruise with a mere 22 millions.
In comparison, the top paid actresses, Angelina Jolie, Jessica Parker and Jeniffer Aniston made less than 30 millions.
