Teen heart throb Corey Haim dead at 38

The Los Angeles coroner’s office has confirmed that the Lost Boys actor Corey Haim has died at the age of 38, at Providence St Joseph Medical Centre in Burbank, California.
The Canadian-born actor’s breakthrough role was in Firstborn in 1984, following up with a major role the next year in the film Lucas, but it in 1987 when he gained worldwide fame in the youth vampire film, The Lost Boys.
He developed a friendship with one of his co-stars, Corey Feldman, and they pair worked together on many projects over the years, including License to Drive the following year and the recent TV series, The Two Coreys, which ran for two seasons until 2008.
Both actors has battled drug addiction over the years and it’s been reported in Los Angeles that Haim had suffered an overdose, but this has not been confirmed. A post mortem examination will take place later.
