Dating pic, Think Like A Man, won the US box office for a second weekend in a row, adding $18 million to its coffers. After only ten days of its debut, the film has earned $60.9 million. Not too bad for a film that cost Sony just 12 million to make.

Adapted from Steve Harveys advice book, Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man, and cast predominantly with African-American actors, the ensemble comedy follows several couples as they try to connect romantically.

Another Sony title, Aardman Animations The Pirates Band of Misfits, claimed the second spot with $11.4 million. The film, which cost $55 to make, has already earned $63.7 million at the international box office.

The film tells the story of an inept pirate, voiced by Hugh Grant, who tries to win the Pirate of the Year award.

Zac Efrons romantic drama The Lucky One finished in the third place with $11.3 million. The Nicholas Sparks adaptation has earned $39.9 million, surprising experts who predicted a much smaller number.

Still alive and fighting, The Hunger Games claimed the fourth spot, making $11.3 million in its sixth weekend on the chart. The sci-fi survival thriller has earned so far $601 million worldwide.

Judd Apataws comedy, The Five-Year Engagement, landed in the fifth spot with only $11.2, much less than the earning of the producers last years comedy hit Bridesmaids.

Starring Emily Blunt and Jason Segel, the rom-com tells the story of a career-driven couple as their struggle to balance the stress of their work with that of their romantic relationship.

The big story, however, was not in the US box office, but oversees, where Marvels The Avengers broke opening weekend records in 12 countries, grossing a stunning $178.4 million in just five days, without even hitting the big markets such as China, Russia or Japan. The ensemble superheros film, which features Iron Man, Captain America, Thor and the Hulk, will be released in the US next weekend.
