About:

Mike Martin is a North London based composer whose background is in concert and film music. He has been taught by Stephen Montague, Andrew Lovett, Andrew Poppy and Richard Allian. In 2004 Mike wrote music for a film that won the Royal Television Society Award for Best Undergraduate Film; the film and his music have been shown on the Performance Channel, tiscali.com and at the Raindance Film Festival. Recently Mike’s music was performed at the Bloomsbury theatre as part of the Philip Lawrence Awards presented by Sir Trevor MacDonald. His oratorio, “The Ulster Cycle” was premiered at Blackheath Halls last year. Finished a diploma at London Film School in Music for Film/TV
