t’s been 18 months in the making, but in Beijing last night Victoria Beckham revealed her design debut for Range Rover.

The Spice Girl turned fashion designer, who is more accustomed to producing ready-to-wear collections sh than cars, said she had learned an enormous amount during the design process.

“When I first started working with the team I did a lot of research, and created mood boards to show the team my love of timeless and classic design. I looked at yachts, luxury jets and classic cars.”

Essex-born Beckham was appointed creative design executive at Range Rover in 2010 and was inspired by her husband, L.A Galaxy footballer David Beckham, in creating the Range Rover Evoque Special Edition.package.
But these personal touches don’t come cheap: only 200 models will be produced, costing £79,995 each.
“I have an enormous amount of respect for the brand. I’ve always driven a Range Rover, for me they are the epitome of quality and luxury” said Beckham at the unveiling in Beijing.
