BLUE IS THE COLOUR! CHELSEA WIN F.A.CUP FOR FOURTH TIME IN SIX YEARS!

Blue is the colour…….supporters of Chelsea football club around the world are celebrating their 2-1 F.A. Cup win over longtime rivals Liverpool. It’s Chelsea’s fourth F.A. Cup win in six years and bodes well for their Champions League final against Bayern Munich on May 19.

King’s Head

Like many other British pubs in varying global time zones, the King’s Head in Santa Monica, California, was packed with rival fans on Saturday morning. The Liverpool supporters far outnumbered the London contingent but it didn’t matter in the end as the Chelsea supporters had the last and longest shout when the final whistle blew.

Goals from Ramires and Drogba sealed it for Chelsea, although Carroll came back with one for Liverpool and nearly headed another which was cleared off the line.

In the crowded pub one of the off-the-pitch highlights occurred when the bottom fell out of the pub’s Liverpudlian manager’s glass, raising a loud cheer.

It was seen as a symbol of the bottom falling out of the Liverpool supporters’ world.
