Even though John Terry was suspended and had to watch from the sidelines as Chelsea beat Bayern Munich to win the Champions League final, he wore his football kit, complete with shin pads, to collect the trophy on behalf of the team. 

 Now Internet pranksters have produced spoof mock-ups showing him (pictured) with the Olympic torch, on the moon, at the Last Supper and on the Palace balcony with William and Kate.

 Other pictures show him lifting the 1966 World Cup, marching with Nelson Mandela, sitting astride the Berlin Wall as it came down, raising the flag on Iwo Jima and standing in front of tanks in China’s Tiananmen Square.
