Founded in 1999, UK Screen is a London-based international entertainment website, delivering news, reviews and interviews from London, Hollywood and beyond. Our regular access to the biggest stars in film and television gives us exclusive interviews and news stories.

Husam “Sam” Asi (Hollywood): Founder and CEO
A film critic, writer and a journalist, Husam (Also known as Sam) has covered major film events (Oscars and major film festivals) and interviewed Hollywood filmmakers and stars. He is a TV host at BBC World Service, a columnist at China’s largest outlet, Tencent, Hollywood Correspondent for the London-based Pan Arab daily “Al Quds Al Arabi,” and for the Alternative Cinema show on BBC arabic. He often comments on Hollywood and cinema on Al Jazeera news and The Guardian newspaper.
In 2008, he was accredited by Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) and in 2010 he was elected to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), which qualifies him to vote for the Golden Globe awards.
He was nominated for the Best publisher by “The New Statesman” magazine and won the “Fringe Report” best publisher award.
Jason Korsner (London):
Jason has been a journalist and photographer since 1994, covering general news and entertainment news for BBC Radio, BBC Television, Reuters and UK Screen among others. He has been reviewing films for outlets including the BBC website and UK Screen for fifteen years and covering events such as the Oscars, the Cannes Film Festival the London Film Festival for more than ten years. His photographs have appeared in a variety of publications, in print and online, including the Daily Mirror the Radio Times.
John Hiscock (Hollywood):
A member of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, John Hiscock worked in London, New York and Sydney, covering major news and sports stories on three continents before settling in Santa Monica, California. In addition to UK Screen, John covers entertainment news for Daily Telegraph, Daily Mirror, Canadian’s Star and Emirates’ The National.
