Press on features are seeking a special effects / armourer for a feature being shot throughout june/july this year.
In broad terms we a re looking for someone that can supply hand guns (about 5 working pieces) that actually fire on set – firing blanks or something to that effect. this is soemthing that we want to do live, and not try to create later in post.

thanks for your time.You could try Simon Atherton. He was the armourer on Band of Brothers. He can supply handguns which will fire blanks the effect is not only to create sound but also the visual mussel flash effect. If failing that you could possibly legally obtain starting pistols just for the noise. Just google his name.
