A lead part is required for short film. Thepart requires the actor to have his head shaved. Filming takes place from the 23rdMarch until the 30th in Bournemouth. Expenses only. The lead part must have good comical timing and also poses a unique look. Iam not after someone who looks a tuff nut.
    title: RUDER THEN YOU
    by Clive Payne
Ruder Then You is a character-led comedy drama set in Britain, current day . The short film focuses on identity
and exploring the world through a skinheads eyes.
We are all desperate for something, anything, to happen in our lives. A time when we should stand up and fight for our right. Why do we have to be told what to do, why cant we shout?
Ruder then you follows the exploits of a man in his late twenties, married with a 9-5 job. He is a man in the system who is ready to explode. The ones who gain respect, as he notices, are the ones who make the most noise. His inspiration comes from the suburbs and the world of short hair and Dr martin boots.
Tony, works in a dead end office job. He seems to be there just to make the numbers up. Married to a wife who is more interested in her appearance then of her husbands attention. Tony is a singer(karaoke style)who is joined on keyboards by his best friend Beer Barrel Bronson. Bronson is a larger then life character who is overwhelmed by Tony`s transformation but still remains loyal as a friend.
Tony is fuelled by anger, he wants to be a somebody, anybody.
Travelling in a complete circle, the story is inter-cut during scenes with Tony as a normal guy and as skinhead. Working our way through the day, Tony as we find out has had enough. Will his alter ego take control of his life?
Set to a gritty backdrop and SKA music, Tony is ready to be RUDER THEN YOU!
