    Grampian ribbon microphone, impedance 52k ohms, model GR2H.
    Working, around 1953 vintage. Silver body, amazing as-new look.
    With original wooden, velvet lined storage box and line (Grampian two pin, thread locking at mic. body end, to unbalanced mono standard jack plug but can be easily changed to XLR balanced.

    Thanks for your reply.
    Sorry, no pic at present but there are ways!
    It’ll be Monday before I can do it – possibly you could find it on the dear old www
    somewhere before then but let me know if not. I’m going to take my own advice and look myself as soon as I’ve sent this!

    Hi again,
    It took about a minute as usual to find a site with a photo and quite a few raves about my Grampian mic. Two points arise – it’s mentioned that the original shielding inside crumbles over time – mine hasn’t. Also says has very low z, referring to the 200 ohm version, mine is the 56 k ohm version denoted by the suffix H to it’s designation. I just put “Grampian microphones” in as a search phrase and a lot came up. Going back to read more now!
