I’m glad others think it’s dodggy. I’ve had several phone calls from this agency and they kept insuring me no fees were involved unless your accepted. However when I got the pack it’s another story saying I need to pay them 240 pounds within 14 days. To be paying 20 pounds upfront a month is a rip off when they can’t guarantee you work. Having been through this situation before I don’t think I’ll be doing it again.As much as I’d love to come for this I’m going to have to hit it on the head this time……maybe next time……Trouble I find with these type of things is one turns up to find things have been cancelled or no-one bothers to come……and sometimes one can find out too late 🙁
Piece of advice phoenix aren’t recruiting now. Their books are open in October again but i think there might be others worth looking into for now. I have my first role with pheonix at the end of this month so I’ll be able to let you know then if they are good etc.
My advice to you would be don’t part with your money unnecessarily. I speak from past experience. First of all an reputable agency would not charge you that much just to be on their books/website. In fact most that do charge only charge for photos and take it out of your 1st wage package rather than upfront. Speak to others who are already in the industry and see if they’ve worked for this organisation before. You need to ask yourself unless they can guarantee you loads of work to cover your costs then is it worth paying that amount just to be on the website.

Not sure where you live but I had some done few months back in Tamworth and the guy who did them was extremely good. He mainly deals with models but his charges are pretty reasonable. It’s around 40 for the shoot then the extras well that depends on what you go for. If you’d like the details pm me and I’ll be more than happy to give them to you.
CheersI wouldn’t go to those Robert mentioned. I’ve had bad experiences with both of those and they charge a monthly subscription fee.
I was going to say that to. They don’t guarantee work either so personally unless you have money to waste I wouldn’t bother. It all seems abit doddgy and they ask bizarre questions on the application form.
