SHORT FILM COMPETITION
Specialist Film and media insurance supplier supports UK short film industry with prestigious BAFTA event
Film and media insurance provider Performance (tel: 0870 703 9378) – a specialist scheme operated by Cadogan Hanover Park and part of the Property & Commercial Division of Barbon Insurance Group – has announced the launch of an exciting Short Film Competition.
Finalists will be invited to a glittering awards ceremony at the prestigious BAFTA headquarters on 25th March 2009 where their films will be screened in front of a specially selected audience from across the industry, including judges and BAFTA winners Clive Parsons and Tony McHale.
Sure to be a night to remember, the chosen few will receive the full VIP treatment complete with red carpet, paparazzi, and champagne reception.
Not only will finalists experience the honour of seeing their films screened in the heart of London’s West End, they will be in with a chance of winning a range of fantastic prizes – all geared towards helping support their filmmaking careers. A cash prize will be awarded to the overall winner.
Entry requirements for the Performance Short Film Competition:
* Submit a short film that is no longer than 15 minutes duration, including opening titles and end credits
* All film production must have commenced from January 2007 and been completed by November 2008
* DVD format for UK region
* A completed entry form must be submitted with each project
The competition is completely FREE to enter and open to all UK filmmakers.
