Spider Man producer dies at 61
The Hollywood producer Laura Ziskin has died at the aget of 61.
She had been battling breast cancer for seven years.
Ziskin scored early successes with her career, producing films including Kevin Costner’s spy thriller No Way Out, the Bill Murray and Richard Dreyfuss comedy What About Bob? and Nicole Kidman’s To Die For.
But she’ll be best remembered as one of the producers of the reboot of Spider-Man – including Sam Raimi’s three films starring Toby Maguire and the prequel, The Amazing Spider-Man, which is scheduled for release next year, with British actor Andrew Garfield in the title role.
