Musical for Stage and Film Production

[DON CAPO WORLD ENTERPRISES]

We are looking for actors and actresses interested in both stage and film roles (not necessarily for both) of a playing age between 18 to 55.
The production is in very early development, and we need a group of musicians both male and female, possibly to participate and act in the musical on stage and/or film, to reproduce a series of songs from a 1980’s cult band, with a more modern and upmarket sound. The sim is to re-release the music with the new musicians, who will be styled to suit with potentials of a future of releases thereafter.
The actors and actresses therefore should include those seeking support artist roles for background walk on parts, as well as those for principle roles. Artistes who are capable of singing, playing music, dancing, and acting will therefore be considered, but not necessarily wholly multi-talented and able to sing and dance.
This is a preliminary casting call after which a review will be undertaken and auditions will commence by submission of CV’s, Photographs, Audio and Video demos, and any other material that may be thought relevant. Those with stage experience may not be considered for the film, and visa versa, though the musical aspects will remain the same.
We expect first stage auditions to continue throughout the year at this stage of the production, and second stage auditions may require video submissions or key actors may be called to perform a set peice.

Any preliminary submissions advancing the songs to a modern day cult theme with modern day beat, sound and audio technology will be considered. It is in your interests to listen to this music in this instance. Please bear in mind those successful musicians will be reproducing at least 23 songs in total for distribution and sales through us.
