pitch docs and script call

Hi
We have started receiving lots of pitch docs so many thanks to everyone who has been responding. (see previous post “call for scripts”) .
In an effort to make the process even more succesful and less painful (I know we ALL hate writing pitch docs) can I ask that people include all of the following somewhere in their document.
Title
Time and Place
genre
Protagonist
goal
obstacles
In the end by…? the hero/heroine triumphs/fails..
We’ve already had some excellent pitch docs, honed to perfection, a great read and giving all the info listed above. We have made requests to see the scripts of these pitches.
Unfortunately many others don’t really tell you anything about the project because they fail to even identify half of the points stated above. If you use this as a template it is possible to do the whole thing in a page and still show your flair and style.
Sorry to be so prescriptive but it would be a pity to miss out on your gem of a script just because of a poor pitch doc. In a perfect world we would read all the scripts, alas there just isn’t time.

Hi Adrian,
Sorry to bother you, if the script might already have been selected?
May I ask, what the exact purpose of the script search is?
Are you or somebody you work with interested to shoot a film based on such script?
My partner (in live and business) is an actress in Paris and she has for about a year a script for a movie (half-biography, based on a real person) in Brazil.
Unfortunately she has not finished to have it translated (she wrote it in German originally)
Which is why I want to know about your call and its duration/deadline.
