Hello
I am about to embark on a short 15 – 25 minute film called ‘The Devilish Doings of Dr Diabolical’ and need the following cast
Victoria Valiant – young, good-looking, reporter for the ‘Daily Justice’ – Victoria is a paragon of virtue and investigative journalism. She is the constant victim of Dr Diabolical and his schemes of revenge. The part is similar to that of an old style serial character mixed in with Penelope Pitstop. Vicki is constantly being kidnapped and placed in evil (yet laregly uneffective) perils by Diabolical only to escape using guile, charm and a superior intellect.
Dr Devlin Diabolical – Frozen in a timewarp since 1920 – Diabolical arrives in modern day to find that his brand of villainy is sneered at and scorned by modern society. No-body wants to tie a girl to a railway line anymore but it’s all he knows. Tall, in his mid-Forties and charming in a bumbling, evil sort of way.
Daisy – Diabolical’s henchman – homeless, overweight and clueless and saddled with a name that has made his childhood a terror – Daisy is in desperate need of a friend and Diabolical is the one person who truly seems to like Daisy.
Mrs Krohn – landlady of the worst guest house in history – a character straight out of a 1970’s sit-com.
The film would be shot at weekends and needs people good at physical comedy – funding is tight but I can manage expenses and a copy of the film when it’s completed and a CD of any publicity stills taken.
