Tracks required for extreme sports DVDs

Pressure DVD (www.pressuredvd.co.uk) are currently seeking unsigned bands who would like the opportunity of international exposure for songs through our series of extreme sport DVDs.
Pressure DVD is a small outfit from Sheffield who currently produce titles in the tournament paintball market. Our third title plus a co-production title are both due in March/April. Pressure are interested in hearing tracks, demos and albums by any bands who wouold like the exposure offered by featuring on our films. We on average use 12-14 tracks per DVD.
The DVDs are currently sold throughout Europe and the US..
We cannot currently offer any pay for use of the tracks, although we may consider MPRS-registered tracks (writer’s fees only) if we feel a particular track is worth the extra cost. However, in return for use of your song, we offer a full onscreen credit when your song takes place, plus full contact details in the end credits. All tracks are licensed through a contract for non-exclusive use for one film and its advertising only.
We are looking primarily for songs in the rock/hip hop/punk/ska/metal genre that would be suitable for use in fast cut, flashy sequences (think the Extreme Sports channel) that capture the energy of an adrenalin sport.
We also seek emotive acoustic tracks that can be used over interviews, teams being eliminated etc.
Finally we are open to new ideas for music that could possibly be used in these kind of films such as hard dance, electro etc
Subjects we particularly seek are:
hunting/hunter/prey, shooting (though not war, its a game after all!), cheating/foul play/dirty tricks, adrenalin/energy, winning/victory, revenge, losing/loser, failure/success, entertainment/entertaining a crowd
We do not seek tracks with any kind of obvious personal/love lyrics as these stand out too much against the energy of the action on screen. If you are unsure, please contact us and I’ll have a listen to any submissions anyway.

If you’re selling the DVD’s for like a tenner each, surely you could offer the band a small royalty. I’d not give you my music if you were making that much money per dvd. Maybe if you were only charging for production and shipping, but that’s still less than 3 quid per dvd. Your trailers aren’t downloading. I’m a 2meg line and it’s taking ages to get a few k downloaded.
