WHAT’S IT LIKE?
A lavish and stunning production by writer/director Michael Radford (White Mischief) in this, the first ever film version of Shakespeare’s comedy/drama.
Al Pacino is a tour de force as Shylock. His performance is totally riveting. The rest of the cast is impressive too but it’s Pacino that steals the show.
It’s completely gripping and the pound of flesh scene is heart stopping. A film not to be missed.
