    Hiya Rob
I am with them yes, about 6 weeks. They did call 2 wks ago to say they were puttin me forward for a voice over but I have not heard anything. I payed, which is to go on web site. I think they ok but? Ask Val if u can jst go on file(free) or pay on first job? I feel their web site does not do me justice as they do not have many Actors or Extras on it! I am gonna have a chat with her as she seems nice woman but I may need to send her a couple more photo’s.
Their name is “trade marked” so I would say they ok but I jst aint got anything so far.

    For S.A’s u want Ray Knight’s Agency.
Julie will normally only cast main guys through an Agent (if that what u mean) unless u are well known. CV’s and pics may be thrown in bin with other thousands.
    Hope this helps

    Hi
    Sorry.
How much are the fees? set fee or Equity rate?
I may be interested in any suitable parts. I fit age bracket I probally prefer other roles rather than presenting but it may suit us both. Also it would help greatly if you had the dates a.s.a.p as diary get full quickly!
Thanks u may view page or bell me.

    Hi
Was the call from someone wanting a “chat” or was it a Company wanting to recruit Actors for “chat lines”? I bit confused cos they may be 2 different things.
I suspect some Actors who need paid work and may want to work these lines (not me yet!) but I guess its not really the web site to do it!

    Hi Guys
Ray Knight likes to only take people who live within M25 and I heard he was going for people under age 40? Good agency though, heard he is getting allot more feature work and is main supply to Eastenders.
Mind remeber if you become an extra after commision and tax u may only get £50-60 per day and if you have to take off travel or hotels you are left with £0.00.
Castings u only get £20 if yer lucky. I have to get part-time work to cover all the costs etc. Eeek! how will I start a family! Happy Actoring!

    Hi Chaps
I think I mentioned this on this forum before, that it may be a great idea to produce a legal doc. This could state that any Artist who works for free will get copy of film, back royalties (or set agreed fee) IF the film makes it into a paid environment. This could be drawn up and signed at little cost(by a Solicitor). This would then give the Actor a come-back should these promises not materialize? What yer reckon lads, just a thought?

    Casting Collectives
    2020
    Mad Dog
all should be casting for background and small features.

If a Film school makes you py for hire of equipment you may not need them. I thought they would at least supply cams etc. I think a contratct has to written up between actors and crew/directors, that state a copy of film, back royalties etc be paid if the said film acheives PRO status. I guess? Good Luck on Film sounds like a ade/Rick Mayall type film.

In my opinion you may be better off with an agent. My friend is with them. Britstars seem to charge allot for game shows and studenty type castings. They do email you but most of it is not much use. That’s just our view though.

I tried to join online but tapped in all my details and it twice failed.
I have heard from two people that they have had nothing from them but I don’t know enough?
I think they just get u noticed on web site so casting agents can choose you from it?
Prob better to join good agency that you can meet face to face? That u know are puting you forward for work, but I guess others may have diff opinion?
